The Outreach Team's goal is to expand scholars' access to highly-cited literature through their institutional online libraries.
Bonnie oversees the implementation of public relations and marketing activities that support HighWire's mission and goals. She develops and produces messages that communicate the value of the online products and services to libraries and other constituents, and helps society publishers understand the library perspective.
Bonnie is one of the principle contacts between librarians and the societies, university presses and non-profit publishers who work with HighWire Press. She coordinates the HighWire Library Advisory Group and the Publisher-led Task Force on Consortia and Institutional Sales (TFOCIS).
Bonnie heads the team that represents HighWire publicly at meetings and other activities. Her focus is on marketing, public relations, library feedback, academic consortia and corporate sales negotiation.
