We have made changes to better serve users who previously created a search alert to be run against all participating HighWire-hosted content. In the past these alerts were run several times each day, once for each HighWire-hosted journal with new articles that day. For some individuals this practice meant that several messages were delivered each day. In order to reduce email clutter and better serve alert users we have consolidated these alerts into a single search of all new articles published in HighWire-hosted sites on a given day.

All alerts will still be run and users will be alerted to newly published articles matching their criteria. The results of these alerts will be delivered in a single message which contains the first set of results and allows users to see any additional results. The email messages contain instructions for unsubscribing from the alert or changing your alert preferences.

Users who are receiving plain text-based alert messages may wish to change their alert preferences to receive HTML alerts for improved readability.
