INSTITUTIONAL SUBSCRIPTION MANAGEMENT: How to Begin
Welcome to HighWire Press's institutional subscription management system. It ties or "associates" your journal subscriptions to your HighWire Press account. The process is based on matching the subscription administrator's email address in your journal subscription record to the email address(es) linked to your HighWire Press account.
Complete these one-time steps, in the order shown, or contact us if you have questions before you begin. (All links will open in a new window.)
STEP 1: Review your journal subscription information. You will need to know: The administrator user name and password for each of your journal subscriptions Your authorized IP ranges	NOTE: Terms regarding online access vary by publisher. Be sure to review these subscription policies when compiling your IP ranges.
STEP 2: Establish a HighWire Press account. Register for a Free Account, or sign in to your HighWire Press account	See our Introductory Document for help setting up your HighWire Press account. Don't worry - you can always make changes to your account.
STEP 3: View your subscription lists: Subscriptions I administer Subscriptions administered by others at my institution Subscriptions available at my workstation
STEP 4: Associate your journal subscriptions to your HighWire Press account.	You don't need to associate all subscriptions at once. You can start with just a few, and add others once you're comfortable with the management system.
You are now ready to do any of the tasks on the 'Manage your Subscriptions' section of the 'For Institutions' page
